A nice find

I bought this after seeing an ad online and was pretty skeptical, especially since I've suffered from insomnia for years and have tried everything. I have to say, the Qimora Sleep Core really surprised me. The first week I didn't notice a huge difference, but after a few days of getting used to it, I started waking up feeling way more rested. It's not magic, but it helps so much to wind down at night. I'd take off half a star (if I could) just because the power cord is a bit short and I had to use an extension cable. Otherwise, fantastic.

Good but wish it had an app

The hardware is great and it cools the bed down well. I totally understand the whole "offline" and "no subscription" angle, but honestly, I wish it had a simple app just so I could turn it on from the couch before I head upstairs to bed

Great discovery

Works exactly as intended, I sleep way better and deeper compared to the past. My girlfriend really loves it and I have to say that the analogic features makes usability so simple.

A solid alternative to way more expensive systems

We were one of the first ordering Qimora.

Being previous multi users of 8 sleep, that we took from US to Austria with us, I can compare those two systems.

First, and you know this from advertisement, Qimora is a local only system. All controls are on the device. The few control buttons are nicely integrated in the device, therefore very good from esthetics. However, it takes quite some time between pressing the button and the system reacting to it (few seconds), which makes it at the beginning a challenge. The good thing is that you set it up once, then you just switch it on and off. It does not have gazillion sensors like 8 sleep, however they caused us to be either sweaty or cold.

One thing we are missing is a simple remote control. In case of manual adjustment (does not happen often) this would not require getting out of the bed, walking around the bed, and trying to hit the right setting.

You also have to know that (in difference to 8 sleep), both sides either cool or both sides heat. They can have different temperature settings, but it is not possible that one side would heat and the other cool at the same time. Not a big problem for us. We cool it down on both sides although we keep a pretty substantial change of temperature.

From the noise development, you hear it only on cooling, and even there barely. We could not hear anything when we tried heating it.

The biggest difference is the installation on the bed and the connection to the control device. Qimore is basically a thin topper, which is on top of the mattress. You can barely feel it. The connection to the control unit is top left and goes horizontal from top of the mattress (you can reverse it 180 degrees). 8 sleep wraps around the mattress and has a connector from the wrap on the head side going down (there was no way to fit it on our bed).

Overall, Qimora for us is the clear winner. Reliable performance, low noise, easy bed compatibility, no subscription, are all features we like. User interface needs a little improvement. It would be nice to be able to heat one side while cool the other side; although not necessarily a deal breaker.

Happy user of two mouths

We have been using Qimora for a two months now. We do not have A/C so sleepquality in summer was significately poorer. Qimora helps a lot to cope with the heat. I like that you can change the temperature separately to each side of the bed. We are satisfied of how quite the machine is and how simple it it to use.
We have noticed the difference also in sleepdata mesured by Oura. I like the custome sleepmode that changes the temperature automaticly overnight. Furthermore I like that you can put a timer on after wich the Qimora turns automaticly off. Helps a lot with waking up!
Also we haven’t had any issues with dognails whatso ever.🐶

Excellent Support

I ordered the Qimora set as an affordable alternative to the Eightsleep kit. I was specifically looking for an EU based manufacturer offering a kit without any expensive subscription plan. The Qimora device works flawless relatively silently. On first delivery I discovered that Qimora had actually shipped a mattress pad with wrong dimensions. Their aftersales support answered immediately to my corresponding objection e-mail and arranged the exchange exceptinally fast and with utmost professionalism. Top recommendation from my end.

Straight out of the box, we noticed a better sleep, which is what it's all about.

Whilst the focus with this unit is for cooling in summer, I was looking for a product that did winter as well. I previously had a cooling only product which was great as far as it went. After a bit of toing and frowing on the user guide I’m now happy with it. Would recommend.

My thoughts after using the Qimora cooling pad

I have been using the Qimora cooling pad for a while now and overall I have been really happy with it.
One of the main reasons I picked Qimora in the first place was that it ships from within Europe. It was super nice not having to worry about any unexpected shipping fees, hidden costs, or customs duties at checkout.

A massive plus for me is that there’s no monthly subscription and it doesn't rely on a smartphone app to work. Nowadays every single device needs an app, so having a product that just works on its own feels way more future-proof. It gives me peace of mind knowing it won't become useless just because an app stops getting updates.

If there’s one downside to the lack of an app, it’s that I can’t automate the cooling. Sometimes I wish I could schedule it to turn on automatically right before I go to bed, but honestly, it’s probably just a habit thing and I just need to learn to turn it on myself.

As for small improvements, I really wish the physical buttons were easier to see. They are honestly pretty tough to navigate in dim or dark bedroom lighting.

I’m genuinely satisfied with the performance, but I do have a couple of minor concerns about the long-term maintenance. I'm a little nervous about the 4-month mark when I'll need to change the distilled water, and the overall hygiene of the internal system over years of use is something I think about.

Still, it’s a solid product that does exactly what it promises without trapping you in a digital ecosystem. Definitely recommend it if you're looking for a good cooling bed solution.

I bought the Sleep Core after looking hard at Eight Sleep (too expensive in EU + subscription), Sleepme/Chilipad (doesn't ship to EU), and used Chilipad imports which can be sketchy. Qimora was the only real EU option in this price range with a clean design look.

After 10 nights, the experience has been very positive.
The headline news is that the dual-zone separation actually works. My partner used to sleep under 3 blankets while I was the one sweating with only 1. We now share the same duvet. That alone justifies the price for couples with mismatched temperature preferences.

The pad cools roughly 15°C below room temperature, which in my non-AC bedroom (24-28°C in summer) means a usable 18-21°C surface, exactly the comfort zone. The feeling is like getting into freshly made cold sheets, except that it lasts all night.

I've also noticed a +10-15% increase in REM and deep sleep on my Oura ring, but 10 days is too early to attribute it solely to the mattress, but it plays a part in it, that's for sure.

Shipping was done in 2 days, they overdelivered on this point and I was able to send it to a pick up point, package is super sturdy, and the design is very nice. It doesn't look ugly at all in the bedroom.

Two small points that could be adjusted: the control unit has no backlit buttons, so adjusting settings in the dark means using your bedside lamp.. The manual is quite basic, and would love to see more content around how to go around the settings, and progressively find the best option to adjust it for 2 people (finding your optimal temperature, etc.).

Noise is fan-level white noise, which is not an issue at all.
Setup is simple if you watch the video first (the color-coded tubes aren't super intuitive without it).
You'll need distilled water on hand, Qimora suggests to buy a 5L distilled water jug but only less than 3L are enough for the first top up. (then will have to be topped up every 3 months or so)

For Europeans who want the Eight Sleep experience without paying a fortune + subscription, this is currently the best option I've found.

So much cooler. Get to sleep so easily now, and stay asleep.

A few experimental nights and now I'm no longer waking because I am hot. Thank you. I didn't realise my waterbed cooled me so well. This has enabled replacement possible

Best value in the market

Got my Qimora sleep core early from their pre order stock and I've been using it for two weeks. Honestly I’m really impressed. It cools the bed perfectly and the dual zone feature works great. I also really like how it drops the temp during the first phase of sleep and then slowly warms it back up right before you wake up.

It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of the Eight Sleep pod, but it costs way less. I already use a Whoop for sleep tracking, so paying a massive premium for redundant data made no sense to me. If you’re just looking for solid, reliable temp control for your bed, this is hands down the best value out there. Highly recommend

Sleep Core arrivato a casa 3 giorni fa. Confermo la primissima impressione e anzi, si sta rivelando ancora più utile del previsto. Adesso che comincia a fare caldo, mettersi a letto e trovarlo già fresco mi aiuta ad addormentarmi in meno tempo. Non lo trovo invasivo e il mio Whoop sembra confermare le mie prime impressioni (sonno profondo e REM migliorati)

Its just what i was looking for , keeps the bed with cool spots all the time, Im not as restless as i was , Does what the website says 1 , I set the room temp to 21 and hub to 12 , this is perfect for me!

Does a great job in cooling down the mattress.

We are sleeping better through out the night and waking up fresher.

Product does what's advertised and would recommend to anyone who is a hot sleeper.

One addition I would add would be a directional shroud that can aim the hot air expelled from the radiator to a more open area for dissipation.

Actually very disappointed... my partner and i are completely different sleepers, and seeing that this had hot and cold mode separately, i assumed one could be hot while the other is cold, but at most it only allows a 10° difference which feel like absolutely nothing.

Not to mention when it's on the coldest setting, you can't feel it after about 5 minutes laying on it.

I'd love to test it along side 8 sleep, to see if its the same outcome.

My partner and I are both shift workers and trying to maximise our recovery, particularly when work has been incredibly demanding. This has been a game changer, especially for those day time sleeps. Highly recommended for first responders who need to get their cortisol levels down and doubly so if you happen to be in peri/menopause and/or a hot sleeper. It seems to balance the mattress temperature really well.

I used to find the mattress was too hot continuously. Now it seems to balance the temperature to a neutral point. Perfect
