How it works
A Pad on your mattress, a Unit by your bed.
The Unit warms or cools water and circulates it through the Pad beneath your sheets. Choose your setting directly on the Unit.
Set your temperature
Use the touch panel on the Unit. Water temperature goes from 12 to 55°C, set per zone.
Water flows through the Pad
The tubes carry it through the Pad and back to the Unit. The Pad has no electrical parts at all.
Your bed follows
The Pad sits under your usual sheet and can cool your bed to up to 8°C below room temperature.
The Sleep Core controls bed temperature, not room temperature. Cooling performance depends on the room, bedding and chosen setting.

Fall asleep cooler
Early in the night, deep sleep is most common. It's when the body does most of its repair, and lets its own temperature fall. The map drops 4°C in the first 30 minutes and holds for about 3 hours.

Warmer for REM
Later in the night, more of your sleep is REM, when the brain sorts memories and dreams, and the body regulates its own temperature less. From hour 4 the map rises 1°C an hour.

Wake up warmer
By morning the bed has warmed back to 1°C below where it started, for a gentler wake-up.

Does it need an app or Wi-Fi?
No. It's fully offline: no app, no account, no wireless connection of any kind.
How loud is it?
Under 35 dB of low white noise, measured at 1 metre. Most people compare it to a quiet fan in the background.
How much maintenance does it need?
Very little. Replace the distilled water every 4 months, or sooner if the Unit asks for it, and wipe off dust now and then.
Will I feel the Pad?
Barely. The Pad is thin and sits under your fitted sheet. The surface can feel a touch firmer, and once you lie down the tubing is hard to notice.
Does it replace air conditioning?
No. Air conditioning moves heat out of your home. The Sleep Core moves heat away from your body and releases it into the bedroom.
It significantly lowers your bed's surface temperature compared to a regular mattress, but no system fully replaces A/C in a heatwave. It works best when the bedroom is 24°C or below, so on the hottest days you may still need A/C for the room.
Is it certified?
Yes. The Qimora Sleep Core is CE and UKCA certified.
How much power does it use?
Up to 210 W when cooling. Heating uses up to 300 W on a single zone, or 400 W on dual zone.
Is there electricity in the Pad?
No. The Pad has no electrical components of any kind. Temperature is set by water flow alone.
Is it a medical device?
No. Qimora is not a medical device and makes no clinical claims.
What if the Pad gets stained?
The Pad cover is waterproof. If it stains, replacement covers are available for a fraction of the full product price.
