Why we started
Eight hours shape the other sixteen.
The people we build for protect their time, their training and their focus. More and more of them protect their sleep as well, because they see it as the foundation of everything else.
When we looked at the sleep technology on offer, the best of it was expensive, and a lot of what you paid for was complexity rather than better sleep.
So we built something simpler. Qimora does one job, keeping your bed at the temperature you prefer, and it asks nothing else of you.
01Offline by default
Offline is the new luxury.
There are no WiFi or Bluetooth radios in your bed. Everything is controlled by hand, beside it.
We like good technology. We just don't think a bed needs an app, an account or an internet connection to do its job well.
For us, the luxury is control. Nothing ends up in your bed that you didn't choose.

At night
Set it once, then sleep.
Choose a temperature once, or a Sleep Map that adjusts it as the night goes on. After that there's nothing to do. The Unit runs at under 35 dB at one metre, close to a quiet fan, and its display fades to dark after use.

Is it really offline?
Yes. There are no WiFi or Bluetooth radios in your bed and no app to install. Everything is set on the Unit beside the bed, and it works without an internet connection.
Why is there no subscription?
Because there's nothing to pay for each month. The Sleep Core doesn't run on our servers or anyone else's, so you buy it once and own it outright.
What happens to my sleep data?
No sleep data is recorded. There are no sensors in the Pad and no connection to send anything through.
Does it replace air conditioning?
No, and it's better to say so now. The Sleep Core moves heat away from your body and releases it into the room, so it works best when the bedroom is 24°C or below. On the hottest nights you may still want air conditioning for the room.
Is it a medical device?
No. Qimora is not a medical device and makes no clinical claims. It controls the temperature of your bed, and nothing more.
